Overview

The free Diabetes HealthManager application was created to help people with diabetes keep track of important health information.  The current version provides the ability to track the following health metrics:

  • A1C
  • Blood Glucose
  • Blood Pressure (systolic, diastolic, pulse)
  • Cholesterol (HDL, LDL, Triglycerides)
  • Doctor Appointments
  • Exercise
  • Medication
  • Weight

There are versions for Windows, Android and Java Webstart (for other platforms).  Java version 7 is required for the Java Webstart version.

All versions of Diabetes HealthManager provide the ability to capture and manage all of the health metrics mentioned above.  The Windows version also provides the ability to create graphs as well as the ability to print and email reports (via PDF -- a PDF viewer is required for this to work).

The health metrics entered by the user in any of the versions of Diabetes HealthManager are visible in all of the other versions as well.  So if you add a Blood Glucose entry using the Android version of Diabetes HealthManager on your phone, that entry will be visible in the Windows and Java Webstart versions also.  This makes it easy to capture your health metrics wherever you are.

Diabetes HealthManager includes an integrated log book that shows all of your health metrics sorted by date and time.  The Windows version also includes separate log books for individual health metrics.
